Shy Talk Legacy Shop

Back in December, we very unexepectedly lost our very dear friend, avid supporter, and resident DJ, Stephen 'SonicDiary' Doyle.
It is hard to imagine our events continuing without his invaluable input, but onward we must go, just as he would have wanted. On Saturday 17th May, we gather at The Peer Hat to celebrate his life with a stellar bill of bands playing in his honour, and Dave Haslam playing a vinyl DJ set to keep us all dancing into the small hours.

I would like to take this opportunity to give thanks to Steve, wherever he is, for his kindness, friendship, and steadfast support... I miss him greatly. Sending so much love to his family and many, many friends who are feeling the loss of such a wonderful human being.

Steve contibuted so much to the local grassroots community, both in his presence at gigs, and  his fantastic SonicDiary radio show that is still available to listen to on Mixcloud. In fact, here's his review of SHY FEST II. We were due to do a follow up show to this, with me chatting to Ste about some of the acts, alas... twasn't to be.
